Summer Roundup

September is here and I can't really believe it.  I know so many people say how they feel like various seasons just fly by, however I really do feel like my summer has flashed by in the blink of an eye.  I have been so unbelievably fortunate this year to have done so much travelling, not only in Europe in the spring, but a lot of the British Isles this summer.

A lot of my time has been spent outdoors enjoying and making the most of the short-lived warm, sunny days.  I have tried to swim every at opportunity, but that isn't much of a surprise. I may even build up the courage to don my wetsuit and go for a last few wild swims before it gets too cold.  I have been on countless walks and hikes with family and friends, enjoyed some delicious food both out and at home and been to new places and experienced lots of fun new things.

As a little roundup, I thought I would share with you some of my Instagram pictures from this summer.

Images L-R:

First wild swim of the summer // Going for the chop! // Mango salsa salad // BBQ in the Peak District // Decadent chocolate tart and cream // Wild flowers in Wales // Welsh jetty // Sunset over the Irish Sea // Proud sister at my brother's graduation // Mist after the rain // Sunset through the trees after an evening river swim // Public Enemy at Tramlines - Amazing! // Virgin strawberry mojito // My parents' camomile lawn // Heather in full bloom in the Peaks // Pooches playing // First day in Dorset // Beautiful evening by the sea // Seagull rescuers // Sunset over the cliffs on our last day in Dorset.

I am now ever so excited about Autumn as it is probably one of my favourite seasons (Halloween!!).  I'm hoping to do some more blackberry picking, to head off to the pumpkin patch again in October, to create some new fun Halloween recipes and I also have some surprises coming up too!

I am so very grateful to all my new followers, your support of my blog over the past few months has been amazing.  As a thank you I'm going to be doing a little giveaway in the very near future!

I hope you have all had a great summer too.

    1. Oh thank you so much, that's very kind of you! They're my family dogs, wish I could keep them all to myself but they wouldn't fit in my little house (and I don't think my parents would be too impressed). I have to agree that they're very cute though ;) There will be better pics of them coming up in a post soon too. Think it is a good job I only have goldfish or else ALL of my blog, insta etc. would be of them!

      Thank you again <3 x
